Sabriel AU: Gabriel is a doctor, Sam is the hospital’s legal advisor
Dr. Gabriel Novak and Sam Winchester have known each other for years. Sam was the best friend of Gabriel’s young brother, Castiel, through high school, and Sam’s older brother Dean just so happened to end up as Castiel’s damn near common-law hubby. Sam harboured a crush on the older Novak for years, through high school, college, and on to being part of the working world. Gabriel caught on that he himself wasn’t exactly opposed to the idea of getting with his younger bro’s BFF partway through med school, and the notion grew into something of a longing. It only got worse when Sam’s career choice led him right to York General, the hospital where Gabriel was practicing as a pediatrician, and their constant interaction led to a deeper friendship chock full of unrequited love.
And before anyone asks, this is a fic. I didn’t write it for Sabriel Week, I wrote it over the past summer for the Sabriel Minibang, but, if you want to read it, the link is here. I just figured, with the fact that I had damn near perfect caps thanks to the show, I could slap together this photoset.
